I finally starting reading Fight Club after having bought it months ago. I would've starting reading it right away, but I was in the middle of other books. I'm only a few chapters in. I'm liking it, but I can't help to compare it to the movie. There are some parts that I like better in the book and sometimes I liked the direction the movie went. I always wonder what authors think of the cinematic versions of their work...

Let's get random for a second, shall we?
I love food. I'll eat anything once.
I love cooking. I hate heat. I love fire.
Something I've noticed about myself that I'm not particularly proud of: I help out others only when I think I can use that leverage to help myself in the future.
-Later that day, I tried to help anyone I could see in any sort of need just for the sake of helping. Pretty much just letting pedestrians cross and giving my change to the homeless dude at that intersection. I try to keep up with that, minus the selfishness. Have I changed?
I'm anti-war. Except for the sake of anarchy or change. Thinking about everyone's life flipped upside-down, imagining their panic kind of excites me. Could you hold it together if someone took a dump on your fan?
I like to drink. I used to take pills and smoke pot, but drugs never really interested me. It was the experience that I was after. I don't plan on doing anything worse than that.
I want to learn bass and electric guitar. I have the money, but...
I honestly want everyone to be equal. For me, that means to burn everything down so we all start from scratch.

Woooooooooooo! It's snowing here in Chicago. My second real snow. It's not sticking, but it's fluttering all over. I finally have enough money to buy a DSLR and then I'll be taking photos like a crazed monkey imbued with the power of the gods and hellbent on dooming mankind.

Um... I've heard some great things about this show. So why the hell does it suck so much? It's pretty horrible. The "terminators" are incredibly lame and unbelievable. It's just another travesty laden upon us by Hollywood. Also, Prison Break sucks.
These eggs I made, however, are dank. Scrambled, garlic pepper, and a dash of vodka-based spaghetti sauce. Like I said, DANK.

I gave up going out to a cool show to stay at home and drink with the new roommates. Nothing like a 12ct of Bud bottles and the internet. Any suggestions of how better to spend my night? And, yes, I know I should be drawing comics, but I gave my scanner to my brother before I moved away. Also, many people don't like this idea at all when I tell them my plans for Saturday. Casino! Texas Holdem? Craps? What can I say... I like that atmosphere.

Sweet. So I got a new apartment (sans zombies). So, I guess I'm officially living in Chicago. Does that mean I have to like the Bears/Sox?
